Schedule and Registration Information

This year’s symposium is a special tribute to Dr. James Van Etten following his election to the National Academy of Sciences. Continental breakfast begins at 8:00 AM with the program starting at 8:30. We will conclude the day with a Poster Session and Wine and Cheese Reception. We have an impressive group of speakers that includes Nobel Laureate Richard J. Roberts, winner of the 1993 Nobel Prize for Medicine for his discovery of split genes, and several members of the National Academy of Sciences with a broad range of relevant topics related to virology. Symposium registration (including lunch) is free but advanced reservation is requested by September 30.
