POSITION:
This position
will conduct research studying the immune response against viral
infection. Candidates must show excellent capacity to develop and
coordinate interdisciplinary collaborative research with other NCV
researchers at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln (UNL),
the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and Creighton University.
This individual will also play a strong leadership role in developing
a vibrant viral immunology program at UNL and will be expected to
actively recruit, teach, train, and mentor undergraduates, graduate
students, and postdoctoral fellows through the School of Biological
Sciences. He/she will also play a leading role in recruiting an additional
tenure-track faculty the following year.
QUALIFICATIONS:
PhD or equivalent. Must have a strong research record in studying
the immune response against viral infection, and have an externally
funded research program.
