If you have Office for MAC you will need to first update your version of Office to the most recent Update. To obtain the most recent update, click on the Help Menu and select Check for Updates, or visit the Mactopia site and scroll to the bottom of the page. Select your version of Office (you can version can be determed by clicking on the Help Menu and selecting About Office) and click on the newest update download. Install the update (by double-clicking the downloaded file). (If you get an error message, you most likely have the most current update for your software) That may fix problem. To check, try opening the file. If it doesn't work, then download the Open XML File Converter below. Install it the same way as the update, and try opening the file again.
