We are going to be discussing a lot in the next hour or so, but we are really only going to be talking about a few things:

• How to mark up a page.
• What HTML does and how it works.
• The history and future of HTML.
• How to get the help you need.

I will stop and ask for questions from time to time, but feel free to break in any time you do not understand something.

We have some time at the end of class, and I would encourage everyone to stick around for a while and work on a page or two, while we are all here to help.
