Homestead Awarded NEH Summer Stipend

The National Endowment for the Humanities awarded Melissa Homestead, professor of English and a WGS program faculty member, a Summer Stipend to support work on chapters of her book The Creative Partnership of Willa Cather and Edith Lewis, which is under contract with Oxford University Press. Homestead serves as the Associate Editor of the Complete Letters of Willa Cather, appeared in the NET-produced documentary “Yours, Willa Cather,” and has published widely on American women’s writing from the late eighteenth through the early twentieth centuries.
