access to information on archeological activities nationwide, is an
internationally recognized source of information on public archeology.
NADB-Reports:
an expanded bibliographic inventory of over 240,000
reports on archeological planning and investigation, mostly of limited
circulation. This
"gray literature" represents a large portion of the primary information
available on
archeological sites in the U.S.
NADB-Reports can be queried by
state,
county, worktype, cultural affiliation, keyword, material, year of
publication, title, and
author.
NADB-NAGPRA:
The full text of the Native American Graves Protection and
Repatriation Act, up-to-date information on regulations and guidance, and
summaries of inventory and repatriation activities. Divided into five
document categories, any one
of the more than 200 records can be downloaded.
NADB-MAPS (Multiple Attribute PresentationSystem):
A graphical
application
which contains a variety of maps (GIS) showing national distributions of
cultural and
environmental resources across the U.S. by state and county levels.
