Alpha Rho Chi
WHAT IS ALPHA RHO CHI?
Alpha Rho Chi (APX) is the national fraternity for architecture and the allied arts. Our brotherhood unites men and women for the purpose of fellowship and lifelong friendships and our mutual interest in professional development. This is exemplified by the fraternity’s motto: Fidelitas, Amor et Artes
Fidelity and Love of the Arts
WE ARE PYTHEOS
The Pytheos Chapter of Alpha Rho Chi was installed in April of 1992, with thirteen members and one faculty. Today our chapter averages 30 members, and is continuing to grow in influence and involvement at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. We come from a range of majors such as Architecture, Environmental Studies, Fashion Merchandising, Graphic Design, Interior Design and many more. Our members are truly brothers, becoming close by creating connections and friendships that last a lifetime.
WHAT WE DO
The Pytheos Chapter of Alpha Rho Chi works together as brothers to create, sponsor and attend events within the architectural and design community at and around the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. We have created many events such as De-Float, Basketbrawl and Bake Sales and continue to sponsor these events and many others over the course of the school year. We also continue to branch outside of the UNL community with yearly trips to APX National Convention, APX Leadership Conference, local and regional architectural tour visits, and Founders Day. Our connection with the Pytheos Alumni Association and College of Architecture faculty allow us unique opportunities to directly connect with the design community.
Congratulations to our Newest Brothers!
Initiated Fall 2017
The Pytheos Chapter is proud to welcome eight new brothers this semester into our brotherhood, and we cannot wait to see how they continue to grow along with us.
