Colonel Randy Koehlmoos

COL Randy Koehlmoos, University of Nebraska - Lincoln Army ROTC alumnus (1987), died on August 27, 2011, following a non-combat auto accident in Jakarta, Indonesia. COL Koehlmoos was a Distinguished Military Graduate and served in Desert Shield/Storm with the 3/73 Armor Battalion of the 82nd Airborne Division. He went on to become a Foreign Area Officer specializing in South Asia. He had multiple duty stations in Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, and most recently, Afghanistan and Indonesia. He will be missed by his fellow alumni.

The COL Randall L. Koehlmoos ROTC Scholarship Fund has been created at the University of Nebraska Foundation in memory of COL Koehlmoos.
