About this video

Deb Rauner, MS Ed.

Part 1 will introduce participants to The AFLS Assessment and Curriculum Guides as an extension to a verbal behavior program. Participants will gain the knowledge and tools to track a learner’s functional living skills and plan an individual intervention program to increase independence. Completing the AFLS assessment and using that information to develop an individualized functional curriculum could be a NeMTSS Tier 3 support. Using information from the AFLS and targeting functional skill development in small groups could be a NeMTSS Tier 2 support. For more information on NeMTSS visit https://nemtss.unl.edu/about/.
