About this video

Susan K. Lewis Stokes, M.A., CCC-SLP

A primary goal when teaching students with ASD is to increase independent functioning and decrease dependence on adults.
However, this can be quite challenging in school-based settings where the educational climate often fosters adult support. This webinar will address providing guidance and instruction to educational professionals/adults to maximize independent functioning skills for students with ASD. A unique educational planning guide will be shared, designed to assist teams in identifying contexts and situations that require adult support, necessitating the need for instruction and development of independent skills.
