Please note that due to the Coronavirus/Covid-19 Pandemic, there will be many departures from our usual procedures and all information presented in these pages is subject to change at any time. We're providing the best information we have at the present time, but circumstances can change quickly based upon mandates or recommendations from the State of Nebraska, City of Lincoln, NCAA, Big Ten Conference, UNL and its Athletic Department. Please be prepared to be flexible and know that the health and well-being of our students is top priority for us.
We will purchase band polo shirts, ear plugs, black band and color guard performance shoes, color guard gloves and ponchos prior to the start of the fall semester. We will wait to purchase other items until we know more about this year's athletic schedule.
All students invited to Band Camp must complete and submit the appropriate Band Camp Confirmation Form, the Glenn Korff School of Music Release Form, and return the iPad Rental Agreement by noon on Friday, July 17, 2020. Click on the appropriate button below to open your confirmation form. PLEASE REMEMBER TO HIT THE SUBMIT BUTTON when you are finished. You must start, complete and submit this form in one sitting. You cannot save it and finish it at a later time.
FORMS FOR THOSE ATTENDING BAND CAMP
Click on the appropriate button below if you are going to attend Band Camp. Drum Majors must use the veteran brass and woodwind form. Color guard and twirlers must use the auxiliary form.
GLENN KORFF SCHOOL OF MUSIC RELEASE FORM
All students participating in any Glenn Korff School of Music ensemble must complete the electronic student release form. Students who are not 18 years of age or older must also submit a Minor Release Form which requires the signature of a parent or legal guardian. Marching band students must submit the release form to be eligible to perform in the Exhibition. Those students who will not be 18 prior to the Exhibition must submit BOTH forms. If you have not yet received your University Housing address, please enter "unknown".
Note that your My.UNL ID is required to log on to the release form. Click on the link under the iPad notice if you have not yet activated your account. Activation is a one-time task.
MARCHING BAND IPADS
An iPad Mini will be provided to all marching band students. The form at the link below must be submitted by noon on Friday, July 17. Your My.UNL ID is required to log onto the iPad rental agreement form. Click on the link below if you are a new student who needs to activate your account for the first time.
NOT ATTENDING BAND CAMP
Please give us the courtesy of a reply to our Band Camp invitation. Complete and submit the form at the link below if you will NOT be attending Band Camp. You can also send an email to email@example.com if you do not have UNL credentials.
