Band Camp Message from Kappa Kappa Psi

Dear Cornhusker Marching Band Candidates:

Congratulations on making it to the second round of auditions for the Cornhusker Marching Band! You will soon find yourselves among some of the most dedicated college band members in the country. The band is glad to see so many students joining us and continuing our band’s traditions.

In addition to performing in the Cornhusker Marching Band and possibly other bands on campus, we hope that you will consider Kappa Kappa Psi as part of your college experience. Kappa Kappa Psi is a co-educational National Honorary Band Fraternity centered around promoting the welfare of university bands, honoring band members for technical achievement, stimulating campus leadership, fostering a close relationship between college bands, and providing a pleasant social experience for all engaged in college band work.

The members of our chapter, Epsilon Omega, come from a wide variety of backgrounds, majors, and ensembles. We encourage members of all of our university’s bands to become a part of our chapter. Throughout the year, Kappa Kappa Psi members organize and participate in events and activities such as the Band Banquet, concert receptions, uniform cleaning, rehearsal and performance set-up, and other special events for the University’s band members.

We love to see the enthusiasm and spirit you bring to band and this university. Kappa Kappa Psi is a group where you can serve the bands, build relationships with those who have a similar love for music, and make what you love, band, better for everyone. To learn more about our chapter, visit

We are excited to see you all in August and we wish you the best of luck to you on your audition! If you have any questions please contact Glenna Fulitano at
