Leadership Application Information

March 13, 2020 Message from Professor Falcone

In light of the class cancellations and move from in-person interactions on campus, we're working on an alternate procedure for completing the remaining Leadership Interviews and conducting the Drum Major auditions. We'll communicate these to all who've signed up very soon, we just have a few details to work out. Thank you for your grace and patience as we navigate these uncharted waters.

March 16, 2020 Update

We are accepting video submissions through March 30, 2020. Please submit the leadership application form, if you have not already done so. The questions and video instructions will be sent to candidates via email.

2020 Application Information

The web site software does not allow you to save answers on the leadership application form. There are the usual questions regarding your contact information. Also, there are two questions that require some thought. So, please prepare your answers to the following questions in advance, then copy and paste the text into the application form. Brass and woodwind candidates should give us two interview date preferences, if possible

  • List previous leadership positions, if any. Include experience from high school, the Cornhusker Marching Band, or at work.
  • Briefly state why you want to be a Cornhusker Marching Band Leader. You may bring more detailed, printed information to your interview, if you wish.
