Leadership Application Information

2024 Application Information

Cornhusker Marching Band leadership interviews will be live via Zoom. Each candidate will be sent a meeting date and time as well as a Zoom link after the application has been received. Applications must be submitted no later than 24 hours prior to the earliest requested interview date.

The web site software does not allow you to save answers on the leadership application form. There are the usual questions regarding your contact information. Also, there are two questions that require some thought. So, please prepare your answers to the following questions in advance, then copy and paste the text into the application form.

  • List previous leadership positions, if any. Include experience from high school, the Cornhusker Marching Band, or at work.
  • Briefly state why you want to be a Cornhusker Marching Band Leader. You may send more detailed information to band@unl.edu (PDF format), if you wish.

Brass and woodwind candidates should give us two interview date preferences, if possible.
