Community. Opportunity. Unite. Action. These are key words for the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Combined United Way Campaign. As we begin our 2018 campaign, please take a moment and be mindful about what it is to live and work in Lincoln and Lancaster County. Our university is part of this community, and we have an opportunity to give back to help those who are in need—our children in school who need a little tutoring to succeed; our family member who is ill and needing assistance with rent or utility bills; our neighbor working three jobs in need of after school care; our co-worker needing shelter after escaping from domestic violence. While we are all impacted differently, we can all unite by giving to the United Way or one of its partners.    

Please join me in taking action to make the lives of our children, families, neighbors and co-workers a little better by donating today.
