Join me for Husker Dialogues

Please join our campus community at Husker Dialogues on Tuesday, Sept. 13 at the Lied Center for Performing Arts. Husker Dialogues is a University of Nebraska-Lincoln event for first-year students designed to sponsor conversation about promoting inclusion, respect, understanding and freedom of expression for diverse perspectives and identities in the Husker community. You may attend the 5:30 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. program. Please arrive 15 to 20 minutes early to ensure adequate time for seating. Each session will last about 90 minutes.

A list of attendees will be given to college deans' offices, so bring your NCard/NUID so that the Husker Dialogues team can take note of your participation. If you have class during these sessions, please send an email to huskerdialogues@unl.edu with your name, NUID and the course name and you will be excused from the event. In a similar manner if you have a job during these sessions, please send us your name, NUID and your supervisor’s name and contact information.

Over 300 faculty, staff, and upper-class students have signed up to serve as guides for this event so that you can have meaningful conversations with them and other first-year students. I look forward to seeing you next Tuesday. Go Big Red!
