Why we give to the Combined Campaign

Thank you to all who have participated so far in the Combined Campaign for Health and Human Services.

If you haven’t already, I hope you will consider giving back.

Every dollar you give to the Combined Campaign helps your neighbors get support, stabilize home life and move forward to lead positive, productive lives.

Every dollar helps someone like Emily and her son.

Emily was concerned that her son was acting out at home and in school, and his progress at school was beginning to suffer. Emily sought to understand why, and her son was diagnosed with a behavioral disorder. She was able to find care for her son, but her son’s behavior was beyond what traditional counseling can serve.

Emily learned about HopeSpoke through her son’s school. She was able to receive the information and support she needed as a parent – and her son is receiving the care he needs. Community organizations like HopeSpoke, in collaboration with United Way and CHAD (Combined Health Agencies Drive), ensure that no parent or child gets turned away from the support they need. Emily sees her son’s progress. She no longer feels alone.

Your contribution to the Combined Campaign is an investment in the health, education and financial stability of Lincoln. The Combined Campaign is an incredible opportunity to give back and make a difference right here at home.
