Theodore Wheeler is a fiction writer, bookseller, college professor, and, pub quiz host living in Omaha, Nebraska. He is author of the novels In Our Other Lives and Kings of Broken Things, and the collection of short fiction Bad Faith.
He has been honored with a National Endowment for the Arts creative writing fellowship, a Nebraska Book Award, the Marianne Russo Award from Key West Literary Seminar, and a fellowship from Akademie Schloss Solitude.
His short stories have appeared widely in publications such as Best New American Voices, New Stories from the Midwest, Boulevard, The Kenyon Review, The Southern Review, The Cincinnati Review, Narrative, Confrontation, and Five Chapters. In 2015, his chapbook On the River, Down Where They Found Willy Brown was published by Edition Solitude.
