Check your sound settings

1. With your Chromebook connected to the projector, click the status area in the bottom right corner of your desktop.

2. To the right of the volume slider, you should see an icon that indicates which output device is selected. Click on that icon to open the list of audio input and output devices.

3. Select "EPSON PJ (HDMI/DP)" (the projector) in the list of output devices.

5. Your Chromebook is now set to play sounds through the projector's speaker system, rather than the speakers on your laptop. To change the volume, use the volume buttons on the projector remote.

Check your display settings

1. With your Chromebook connected to the projector, click the status area in the bottom right corner of your desktop.

2. Above the volume slider, you should see an icon and text that indicate what display mode your laptop is currently using. Click the icon to open the display settings.

3. In the Manage Displays window, find the "Options:" dropdown menu.

4. Click the "Options:" dropdown menu to open it and select "Mirrored."

5. Click "Done" to save your settings.
