English majors Tasneem Huq, Grace Jacobsen, Natalia Martinez, Alexis Stoffers (double major in English and Spanish), and Lauren Yaple (double major in English and classics and religious studies) are among the 82 students who have been named Chancellor's Scholars for Spring 2022. The award, which is the highest honor awarded to undergraduates by the university, is presented to students who earned an A in every class during their undergraduate career.

Chancellor’s Scholars are listed in the May 2022 Commencement program, seated together at the ceremony, and receive their diplomas first. Each scholar receives a Chancellor’s Scholar certificate with their diploma and a Chancellor’s Scholar pin to wear on the ribbon of their medallion.

Of this year's 82 Chancellor's Scholars, 35 are students in the College of Arts & Sciences. Their names are listed on the college's website.
