The main floor of Andrews Hall is now equipped with two sets of screens that serve as digital signage for the Department of English. The screens are used to promote programs, events, publications, awards, and news.
To contribute images for our digital signage, please carefully adhere to posted guidelines. Email finished images to Erin Chambers, Instructional Technology and Media Specialist, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Allowed filetypes: .png, .jpg, .pdf
- Dimensions: 1920 pixels wide by 1080 pixels high (16:9 screen ratio)
- University-approved colors (recommended, but not required)
- University-approved icons, graphics, and patterns (not required and not for the faint of heart)
The Department Chair and Instructional and Technology and Media Specialist retain editorial control over images submitted for the department's digital signage. Images violating university policy will not be considered. Images that are pixelated, stretched, unreadable, or incorrect dimensions may be rejected until a redesign is submitted.
These templates are already the correct dimensions, and the finished document can be exported to .png, .jpg or .pdf in almost any program you use.
