STRUCTURE
The Senate Rules and Bylaws Committee shall consist of three faculty members of the Faculty Senate appointed by the President of the Faculty Senate with the approval of the Executive Committee. None of the voting mebers of the Rules & Bylaws Committee shall be members of the Executive Committee at the time of their appointment. The Senate Parlimentarian shall serve as a non-voting member.
TERMS OF OFFICE
Faculty members shall serve one-year terms beginning with the academic year. A voting faculty member may re reappointed to a second consecutive term.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Committee on Senate Rules and Bylaws shall formulate and recommend to the Faculty Senate operating rules and procedures which, after approval by the Senate, shall be sent to all members of the Faculty Senate.
OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES AND GUIDELINES ADOPTED BY COMMITTEE
The Committee shall file in the Faculty Senate Office (a) minutes of its meetings, and (b) a current statement of operating procedures and guidelines adopted by the Committee itself.
