Catherine teaches Humanities in Medicine 397: Experiences in Healthcare and developed and teaches the special topics course Women, Gender, and Medicine. She has taught Introduction to Women's and Gender Studies and introductory and advanced courses in history. Catherine received a PhD in history with a women's and gender studies specialization from UNL and works on the topic of women, gender, and chronic illness as well as women's political agency, networks, and early modern women.
