Purpose of Iranian Student Organization (IrSO)
- Gather and disseminate in areas concerning Iranian students.
- Coordinate, assist, and cooperate with the efforts of university departments, other student groups, and community to serve the academic and non-academic needs of students.
- Stimulate awareness and promote the understanding of the culture, heritage, and traditions of Iran.
- Provide educational opportunities related to Iranian issues, dissolve misconceptions and promote student involvement, a sense of belonging and active participation in leadership roles.
- Provide intellectual development by means of contributing back to the community through volunteer service/learning experiences.
- Create opportunities to learn democratic processes and to exercise the responsibilities of leadership.
