Originally from Mississippi, I attended K-12th grade in Lincoln Public Schools. I obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Tennessee State University; and earned a Master of Education Degree in Educational Administration-Student Affairs from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln in August 2014. As a Program Coordinator with the Office of Academic Success and Intercultural Services (OASIS), my main objective is to assist students in navigating through their undergraduate career successfully and get them on track for graduation! Another professional goal is to engage students in gaining consciousness of their own characteristics, help them understand academic standards, and university policies while constantly thinking of ways for positive change. I am is very passionate about Higher Education and working with student from underrepresented populations. I believes that if young adults are given positive opportunities, they will be empowered to do great things.
