Carol Ochsner began her teaching career with Teacher Corps but soon transitioned to teaching ESL at the post-secondary level.  She has twice served as interim director of Programs in English as a Second Language at UNL, annually reviews proposals for TESOL, and is a frequent member of the Fulbright Scholarship Review Committee.  Carol has represented PIESL and UNL in China, Japan, South Korea, Viet Nam, and Brazil and has presented at TESOL, TASS, NAFSA, and STLHE conferences.  When she is not in the classroom, Carol enjoys swimming, hiking, gardening, needle-point, and cross-country skiing.
