UNL PRSSA has brought several exciting campaigns and events to UNL's campus over the past few years. These range from fundraisers for the organization, to guest lectures by nationally known PR professionals.
Easy Act, Big Impact
In 2018, A team of eight CoJMC students made the final four in the National Organ Donar Awareness Competition, sponsored by the AJF PRSSA Chapter at Rowan University. The campaign, “Easy Act, Big Impact,” expanded campus awareness of the need for organ donation encouraged more students to register.
Stack the Odds
The 2018 PRSSA Bateman team implemented the campaign Stack the Odds in conjunction with Unite With Purpose to Conquer Childhood Cancer to increase understanding of the facts and awareness of the prevalence of childhood cancer in Nebraska.Learn More
UNL PRSSA is partnering with the Food Bank of Lincoln and the Civic Engagement Center to challenge RSO on campus to join in the fight against hunger. Lincoln CAN event will be on October 1 from 2-4 p.m. on the East Campus Mall.LEARN MORE
Redirect the Conversation
The 2017 PRSSA Bateman team implemented the campaign Redirect the Conversation in conjunction with The Campaign to Change Direction to show that mental health is as important as physical health and raise awareness on how we think and talk about mental health.Learn More
Duty Always Campaign
In 2016, PRSSA's Bateman Competition team partnered with the UNL Student Veterans Organization (SVO) to launch the Duty Always campaign, advancing the Student Veterans of America’s (SVA) mission.Learn More
Coffee with a Cause
In 2015, PRSSA worked with the Arbor Day Foundation to spread knowledge about the benefits of shade-grown coffee and develop a plan for promoting it at other colleges in the future.Learn More
