2009 Undergraduate Summer Research Experience in Virology (USREV)

August 2009 USREV students: Melissa Hayes, Nick Dyson, Dani Kelley and Landon Olp

The 2009 USREV program attracted students from as far away as Oregon.  The ten-week-long research training is open to all interested students who attend colleges outside of Nebraska and are of current sophomore or junior standing and are interest in a career in virology research.  Students receive a stipend of $4,000, dormitory lodging and meals, round-trip air fare, and more.  Our students this year included:  Nicholas Dyson, Monmouth College; Melissa Hayes, Missouri State University; Danielle Kelley, Eastern Oregon University; and Landon Olp, Concordia University.
