The Women's and Gender Studies Program would like to recognize the following Core and Program Faculty Members:
- Emily Kazyak (WGS Core Faculty) Promoted to Full Professor in the Department of Sociology
- Kathryn Holland (WGS Core Faculty) Promoted to Associate Professor with Tenure in the Department of Psychology
- Dawne Curry (WGS Program Faculty) Promoted to Full Professor in History and Ethnic Studies
- Abla Hasan (WGS Program Faculty), is the initial recipient of the Women's and Gender Justice Award.
- Abla Hasan was also awarded the College Distinguished Teaching Award (Modern Languages and Literatures).
- Melissa Homestead (WGS Program Faculty) was recognized as 1 of 26 Women of Courage, Character and Commitment across Campus.
- Alice Kang (WGS Program Faculty) Promoted to Full Professor in the Department of Political Science.
Program Retirement
- Christina Brantner (WGS Program Faculty and Past WGS Director) Retired from the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures.
