Winter is a great opportunity to get out of the cold and find a new favorite study spot. Whether you're looking for a less crowded place to study or a spot to do homework with friends, there are plenty of spaces to explore.
Lively and Collaborative
City Campus | Nebraska Union: If you're looking for somewhere to yap while you work, the Nebraska Union—particularly near Starbucks—is the perfect spot. Grab some friends, check things off your to-do list and listen to the sounds of campus around you.
City and East Campus | Academic Buildings: There are so many great spaces to study in academic buildings across campus — both quiet and not. The first floor of a building typically has more lively spaces since there tends to be more traffic.
City and East Campus | Your Residence Hall: Residence halls offer more than just a place to rest. Check out the common areas of your hall to connect with friends while you study.
Quiet and Calm
East Campus | Schmid Law Library: Tucked in McCollum Hall, the Schmid Law Library offers a quiet backdrop for your studies.
City Campus | The Stacks: A Husker favorite, The Stacks in Love Library are a cozy spot to lock in.
City Campus | Adele Coryell Learning Commons: Whether you opt for a comfy chair or a high top, the Learning Commons is a great spot to settle in and watch the snow fall. You'll also find reservable and non-reservable rooms if you need to spread out or work on a group project.
