Stacie received her B.A. in English, French, and Language Instruction/Education at South Dakota State University. While at SDSU, she participated in a study abroad program in France. She received her M.A. in French and Second Language Acquisition from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has been teaching for PIESL since 1997. She has also been a Lecturer for French courses in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at UNL as well as a Lecturer in the Department of English. Stacie likes to read, play the piano, learn other languages, and spend time with her daughters and husband who is also an English /ESL instructor. She enjoys sharing her love of music, literature, and the arts through lessons she incorporates into the classroom.

Stacie often teaches Intermediate, High Intermediate, and Advanced level IEP courses. She has also taught English 186, 187, 150, and 887.
