April 13, 2020
Dear UNL Faculty,
Here we are in the middle of April, in a challenge that none of us have ever really experienced in our lifetime. I wanted to just pause and take a moment here to say thank you – thank each of you as members of the faculty of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, who from mid-March forward have stepped up in ways that are just astounding. To pivot our instruction to all-remote access, to continue our research activities, to continue our engagement activities and to meet our mission as a world-leading land-grant university.
You've done a remarkable job. I've been extremely proud of all of you and the things that I hear and the stories that I'm seeing about the way that we're achieving our mission for our students and for our scholarship moving forward.
Keep hard at work. Keep engaged. Thank you for what you're doing. I'm so immensely proud of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
