Announcing the appointment of Tiffany Heng-Moss as Dean of the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln
I am pleased to share that Tiffany Heng-Moss, who has served as interim dean of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources since July 2017, has been named permanent dean of the college. As an administrator within the college and the Institute for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Heng-Moss has led the development of frameworks for graduate education and smart enrollment growth. Prior to her administrative role, Heng-Moss developed and taught both graduate and undergraduate courses in the Department of Entomology. She also led the development and implementation of three bachelor’s degree programs. Her research focused primarily on insect science and pest-management strategies. She has authored or co-authored more than 90 refereed teaching and research articles.
Heng-Moss is a prior recipient of the University of Nebraska’s Outstanding Teaching and Instructional Creativity Award, which recognizes faculty members who have demonstrated meritorious and sustained records of excellence in creativity and teaching. Heng-Moss holds a bachelor’s degree in horticulture, and master’s and doctoral degrees in entomology from Nebraska.
