Welcome to the home of the WGS List of Departments and Programs in the United States!
Beginning in June 2023, we began collecting a list of women/gender/sexuality/feminist studies departments and programs at 1400 colleges and universities across the United States (taken from an internet-generated list), and created several reports from the results. The purpose of this project is to establish contact with like-minded programs at as many colleges and universities across the United States as possible. The results have been shared with the National Women's Studies Association (NWSA).
Below are the four individual reports and the complete set of reports in PDF format. The Contact List is available by email at this time. Updates will occur on a monthly to quarterly basis, depending on when changes have been submitted. Please check this page regularly for the latest updates.
