Price earns NEH funding for project featuring late-life Whitman writings

Ken Price, Hillegass University Professor of American Literature in the Department of English, is project director for "The Late-Life Writings of Walt Whitman," which recently received funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities.

The funding will support preparation for the online publication of Whitman's late-life writings and poems including November Boughs and Good-Bye My Fancy.

Price is co-director of the Center for Digital Research in the Humanities and co-director of The Walt Whitman Archive, a digital humanities project, and has written several books and articles about the poet.
