Cassol Leal to present at Syracuse University conference

Henrique Cassol Leal, graduate student in the Department of Philosophy, is presenting at the Syracuse University Graduate Philosophy Conference, March 1-2. His paper topic is "Against Reasons Factualism."

Cassol Leal earned his BA from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil, and his MA from the University of Missouri St. Louis (UMSL). His primary interests lie in metaethics, philosophy of action, and epistemology, especially when these areas intersect with concepts such as reasons, justification, normativity, and agency. Additionally, he maintains secondary interests in concepts and self-knowledge.
