This annual conference is directed by our faculty and focused on a topic of significant philosophical concern.

Reading Groups

Our faculty and graduate students regularly organize reading groups on areas including agency and responsibility, metaethics, feminist philosophy and more.

Philosophy Club

The Philosophy Club exists to foster conversation, debate and discussion of philosophy. Anyone with an interest is encouraged to join.

Faculty/Graduate Student

A faculty member or graduate student presents a research paper to our department each semester.

Graduate Student Research

Our graduate students present ideas — and papers — to an audience that includes undergraduates.
Fridays, 4 pm, 308 Louise Pound Hall (the philosophy seminar room)

Graduate Student Teaching

Our graduate students meet to discuss best practices and brainstorm new ways to teach philosophy topics.
Wednesdays, 1:30-2:30 pm, 315-N Louise Pound Hall.
