Tonya Moutray is a Professor of English at Russell Sage College in Troy, NY, where she co-directs the Honors program and teaches courses in nursing and literature, eighteenth- and nineteenth-century British literature, first-year composition, and children's literature. Completing her Ph.D. in 2006 at the University of Connecticut, Moutray published Refugee Nuns, The French Revolution, and British Literature and Culture in 2016. With publications on Jane Austen, William Wordsworth, Elizabeth Gaskell, and Jane Barker, she is currently a Durham University Residential Library Fellow (2022).
