Anne Nagel is a lecturer and a Ph.D. student with interests in 19th-Century British literature and affect theory at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She holds an M.A. in English literature and a certificate in Interdisciplinary 19th-Century Studies. Her dissertation explores the potential for affective intensity in dreams, dreamlike spaces, and sleep disorders in texts of the long 19th Century. Her undergraduate degrees include majors in English, philosophy, and secondary education, with a minor in French.
