Team to lead NEH-funded project to digitize Cather letters

<p>A three-year, $271,980 grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities will allow a research team to digitize and publish online many more letters by Nebraska author Willa Cather. About 500 of the letters were published last year, but the volume contained only a fraction of the more than 3,000 pieces of correspondence that the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Andrew Jewell (pictured above) and co-editor Janis Stout uncovered from various archives and collections around the world.</p>
