Phi Delta Theta’s iconic staircase light designs continue to brighten campus
As the University of Nebraska-Lincoln adjusted to changes due to COVID-19, the Phi Delta Theta fraternity house was business as usual. Armed with tiny cardboard cutouts, a three-tiered staircase and a computer-generated design of the Irish flag and a shamrock, the members were able to decorate their house’s spiral staircase wall with St. Patrick’s Day pixel art.

Sigma Nu fraternity to officially recharter, hopes to regain condemned house
After being recognized again as a fraternity by the Interfraternity Council in 2016, Sigma Nu members began a recolonization process with multiple requirements. They will complete that process with a chartering ceremony this weekend and move forward with several goals.

New IFC President poised to make use of his experience to accomplish goals
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Interfraternity Council chapter delegates elected Williams, a junior mechanical engineering major, to be the IFC president for the 2020 term year. Williams said he decided to run for IFC president because of his passion for the Greek community, and his main goal as president is to showcase the benefits the Greek system brings to the Lincoln community.

New leadership brings new light to UNL’s Multicultural Greek Council
Marroquin-Solis, a senior economics major, is the face of the Multicultural Greek Council. In his new role, he said he is responsible for implementing new ideas, setting deadlines, managing time during meetings, making sure all organizations are adhering to their constitution and relaying information between groups.

National Pan-Hellenic Council looks to unify within, build image at UNL
Though the National Pan-Hellenic Council is smaller than other Greek councils on campus, president Satanna Schunk is helping the “divine nine” make a name for itself at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
