The Office of Academic Success and Intercultural Services (OASIS) and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) would like to present the OASIS Student Advisory Board (OSAB). OSAB will advocate for UNL students regarding the programs, events, and services offered by OASIS. As part of OSAB, members provide recommendations; assist with the planning, promoting, coordinating, and evaluating OASIS events.

Benefits of Joining OSAB:

If accepted, students will gain multiple experiences and skills, such as working in a small group to achieve common goals, the potential for leadership experience on the OSAB executive board, and the ability to make a difference on campus by directly impacting OASIS programming.

  • It offers an excellent opportunity to acquire practical experience in effective board functioning and decision-making.
  • You can gain access to a new network of people that benefit you personally and professionally.
  • The ability to make a difference as an advocate, be a voice for others and influence positive change on our campus.
  • You gain inclusive excellence leadership skills by working in a team.

OSAB shall consist of no less than five members and no more than 15 members selected based on an application. Any University of Nebraska-Lincoln student enrolled for a minimum of six (6) credit hours and in good academic and disciplinary standing shall be eligible for membership in OSAB.
