OASIS Student Advisory Board

The OASIS Student Advisory Board is a student organization that hosts events and programs for students by students! OSAB recognizes that there is a large social aspect to college that is important for a student’s overall college success. Being socially engaged allows students to build relationships, confidence, and overall development through involvement. As an OSAB member, you also will serve as an advocate for UNL students in regards to the programs, events, and services offered by OASIS and the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center.

  • Potential for leadership experience on the OSAB executive board
  • The ability to make a difference on campus by directly impacting OASIS programming

Membership

OSAB shall consist of no less than 5 members and no more than 15 members selected on the basis of an application. Any University of Nebraska-Lincoln student enrolled for a minimum of six (6) credit hours and in good academic and disciplinary standing shall be eligible for membership on OSAB. Membership terms shall be until graduation so long as the Member remains in good standing with OSAB. Executive Board positions are: President, Co-President, Treasurer, and Secretary and these will be valid for one year.
