Open recruitment which is also known as COB, is held throughout the academic year beginning the sunday following primary recruitment. Sororities may participate voluntarily, depending on the size and needs of the chapter. Open recruitment events are often informal activities planned and held by each sorority.
To apply for open recruitment you must complete the open recruitment application which can be found in the forms section or can be downloaded here and returned to the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life. A $50 application fee is due at the time of application submission; if you participated in primary recruitment for the same academic year, the fee will be waived.
