The Big Ten Network has featured the Extreme Light Lab in one of its BTN LiveBIG spotlights for the 2015-16 season. The short videos highlight "notable examples of research, innovation and community service from around the conference." The video stars Donald Umstadter, Olson Professor of Physics and Astronomy, and graduate student Colton Fruhling, who explain how the awesome power of the laser is fueling cutting-edge research.
